FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

June 7, 2011-Many of you might be scratching your head wondering how Racing a car is saving our planet. Well, read how Daniel Orr Racing is making it happen.

Since the American LeMans Series is the global leader in green racing. With its mission of producing sustainable, efficient and environmentally-responsible transportation solutions, the Series has successfully reduced its oil consumption and greenhouse gas (GHGs) emissions by more than 40%* over the last five years of competition. This reduction has been achieved through the testing of new and evolving energies such as clean diesel, renewable biobased fuels and advanced hybrid powertrains, as well as automotive technologies including aerodynamics, the internal combustion engine, lightweight materials and tire technologies. These advancements which are accelerated when automobile manufacturers test them in a racing environment, ultimately transfer to and improve the performance of their street car - benefiting and helping to support a cleaner, greener environment.

These significant innovations and improvements are common in the American Le Mans Series given that its technical regulations encourage the automobile manufacturers to create technical advancements and diversity. These regulations have enticed more than a dozen automobile and chassis manufacturers and four tire manufacturers to compete in the North American endurance racing series. So, It only makes sense to use Motorsports to raise awareness to save our planet.

Daniel Orr Racing has devised a plan to create business relationships, connect with like minded individuals and to inform people of the many ways they can help.

"Unfortunately there is still a popular misconception that living green means having to give up something, or having to go without. But green living isn't about saying no to the way we live, it's about make better choices to the benefit of everyone. One such example is how we dispose of everyday items that we don't use anymore. Most of us when we don't need a particular item anymore just dispose of it in the trash. But landfills are filling up fast and there is another option when it comes to a lot of the stuff we throw away Guess what? Our future is still unwritten and the pen is in your hand! You decide how quickly or slowly you walk your path to a greener life. Just remember...our future depends on our knowledge and actions. The consumer choices you make today will change your health and the health of our world tomorrow. Please join me in taking small steps, every day, toward a greener tomorrow," Said Daniel Orr
